Nadira Janikova performed with David Tennant, Lia Williams, Jamima Rooper, etc. in the premiere of David Hare's Murder In Samarkand, on BBC Radio 4, February 20th. Nadira plays Dilabar and other supporting roles (such as stewardess, waitress, secretary, interpreter, old woman).

Nadira Janikova, from Uzbekistan, came to UK in 2004 August on holiday with her partner, the former British Ambassador to Uzbekistan, Craig Murray. Craig was dismissed from his post, and she couldn't go back to Uzbekistan. Nadira and Craig Murray went on to marry, and had a son in 2009.

Nadira first went to language school. After passing her exams, she was accepted for a One Year Foundation Course in European Theatre Arts at Rose Bruford College. From there she took RADA summer courses, in the Shakespeare, Jacobean, Restoration periods and successfully passed her RADA bronze exam.

In 2006 she was accepted to Drama Studio London for the one year acting course and successfully got her certificate from Trinity College, leading to a BA Degree in Acting.

In 2007 after graduating she wrote her one woman show The British Ambassador's Belly Dancer with Alan Hescott and Craig Murray.

In 2008 she performed The British Ambassador's Belly Dancer at the Arcola Theare, which successfully sold out for four weeks, then transferred to the West End at The Arts Theatre for a further three weeks.
